About CAT

Astonishingly, CAT test pattern has not been changed this year. Though, it was predicted that IIM Bangalore may incorporate quite a few changes in the structure of the test, this year the Institute preferred to not make any changes perhaps because a lot of changes were made to the exam pattern last year.

CAT 2016 is a computer based test.

  • The exam will have 3 sections.
  • Total duration of the test is 3 hours.
  • Question types include both objective & descriptive patterns. Nevertheless, total number of questions for each sections has not been reveled yet. however, it’s expected that every section may not have non-MCQ’s.
